In this part of the country spring is well on its way. Some of the roses already have flowerbuds, all of them have new leaves. Quite a few of the spring bulbs are blooming and soon the glory of the first flush of roses will begin.

Until then let me take you on a tour of the conservatorium at the Bellagio Hotel here in Las Vegas. This month spring truly has arrived here and the sights and smells are unbelievable.

 

A beautiful arrangement of pink Tulips and Carnations with white Hydrangias. A wonderful display in yellow and red Tulips. Every month the whole conservatorium is changed to reflect the current season. The Bellagio owns its own greenhouses, where they work on the next crop. The dancing fountains with Ballys and Paris Hotels in the background.

This fountain is located at the entrance of the conservatorium, it is all decked out in yellow Tulips, Lilies and Mums. Click on the pictures to zoom in. Mixed in the pinks, whites and yellows are these blue Delphiniums. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The dancing fountains at night. I took these pictures from a 24th floor hotel room at the Bellagio.
